Welfare Advice Officer offers confidential advice and information on a wide range of issues. We will help you with completing applications, writing letters, making phone calls and translating.

• Universal Credit - application, resolving a problem, etc.

• Child Benefit

• Edinburg Council: Council Tax Reduction, Housing Benefit, Crisis Grant

• Adult Disability Payment (former PIP in Scotland)

• Disability Living Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance

• Education Maintenance Allowance, Free School Meals and School Clothing Grants

• Application for UK Pension and Pension Credit

• Application for a social flat (EdIndex)

• Writing a letter, email, complaint, appeal, CV

• Exchanging a driving license for a British one

• Signing up or terminating the internet contract

• Solving problems with gas / electricity suppliers

• Car / life insurance

• Telephone on behalf of the client: HMRC, Home Office, Edinburgh Council, bank, etc.

• Standard and sworn translations, written and verbal

 
People who do not qualify for free advice as part of current projects are asked to pay a donation after the meeting or before (in the case of online meetings).
